"My Man Godfrey" Reading: 7/13

Michael will be a part of a new musical reading entitled My Man Godfrey.
The Book is being penned by Rupert Holmes (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Curtains) and the music and lyrics by Mark Hollman (Urinetown).
It is being producerd by East Of Doheny (Grey Gardens, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang).

Michael will be playing the lrole Jimmy opposite Burke Moses (Beauty and the Beast, The Fantasticks) as Dillinger.
The reading will also feature Megan Sikora (Wicked, Curtains) and Brooke Sunny Moriber (Parade, Wild Party). It will be directed by Michael Unger.

Michael wanted to say thank you to all the people who came to see him in Va in The Happy Time.
"I just wanted to thank all those people that came to the shows and said hello afterwards. It means so much that people would travel a great distance to see me in a show. From people that have been coming to see me since the ALW tour in '99 to most recently Les Mis on broadway. I just wanted to express my thanks. And to the Plushie Girl, the doll is great".

Please Don't Eat the Daises Reading; 6/18-22

Michael will once again ba a part of the "Please Don't Eat the Daises" reading in June, produced by East of Doheny. Starring Michelle Ragusa, Gregg Edelman, Leah HOcking and Beth Fowler.
It will take place at the New 42ns Street Studios. for an group invited by the producers.

The Happy Time, Signature Theater/ April 1-June 1

Michael has been offered the lead role of Jaques in the Kander & Ebb show The Happy Time at the Signature Theater in Washington, D.C. The show is being presented as part of the Kander & Ebb celebration. Rehearsals begin March 4th and performances begin April 1st.
The other shows performing at the celebration are:
Kiss of the Spider Woman starring Hunter Foster (Urinetown, Little Shop of Horrors, The Producers, Grease) and Will Chase (Rent, High Fidelity, Aida, The Full Monty).
The Visit starring 2 time Tony Award Winner Chita Rivera (Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink, West Side Story, Nine) and 2 time Tony Award Winner George Hearn (Sunset Boulevard, La Cage Aux Folles, Sweeney Todd, 1776,) choreographed by Ann Reinking (Annie movie, Chicago, Sweet Charity)

Glimpses Of The Moon

Michael is playing the role of Nick Lansing in the Off-Broadway musical of Glimpses of the Moon, on Monday's at the Oakroom.
Directed by Marc Bruni, the new musical will officially open Jan. 28 and will play a limited engagement through March 10. The cast will feature Patti Murin (Xanadu) as Susy. With Beth Glover (Counselor-at-Law) as Ellie, Laura Jordan (In My Life, Cry-Baby) as Coral, Daren Kelly (Crazy for You, Woman of the Year, Deathtrap, South Pacific) as Nelson and Glenn Peters as Streffy.
Each performance will feature a special guest star from the Broadway or cabaret worlds.
The Oak Room is located within the Algonquin Hotel at 59 West 44th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues.











MICHAEL MINARIK currently resides in Manhattan, NY. He was born in Fairfax, VA and lived there until he left to attend James Madison University. After majoring in Public Relations and Business, Michael left school to join the National Tour of THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, where he sang the "Phantom Duet" and "The Music of the Night" (then later on starring Michael Bolton).
