Fat Camp Workshop

A full scale AEA Broadway Workshop of Michael's show "fat camp" the musical is planned for August of 2010, Along with Carl Levin and Dodger Theatricals as producers.

Rock of Ages Toronto/National Tour

Michael will be producing the Toronto and National Touring Productions of the Tony nominated Broadway Hit Musical, Rock of Ages. 

 

The Toronto Production Opens May 11th, 2010 While the National Tour begins in Chicago in September of 2010.

 

While his Producing name on the broadway show is "John Butler" he will be Michael Minarik on subsequent productions.

Fat Camp 29 hour reading

Produced by Michael Minarik and Carl Levin, Fat Camp the musical will be getting a 29 hour AEA staged reading on February 19th.

Fat Camp Wins "Best of the Fest" Award at NYMF.

Fat Camp the musical has won the "Best of The Fest" Award that was voted on by the audience members who came to see the shows at NYMF this year.

 

Fat Camp will perform at the Awards Gala on Nov 22 at the Edison Ballroom.

In fact, at the performance I attended, understudies (Jeremy Jordan and Michael Minarik) played the two leads and they were so convincing that you would have sworn they were the regular inhabitants of the roles.

Michael Minarik: News MICHAEL MINARIK currently resides in Manhattan, NY. He was born in Fairfax, VA and lived there until he left to attend James Madison University. After majoring in Public Relations and Business, Michael left school to join the National Tour of THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, where he sang the "Phantom Duet" and "The Music of the Night" (then later on starring Michael Bolton).
