MIchael's Final Performance of Les Miserables
Dec 11, 02:39 PM
Sadly, Michael's final Les Miserables performance was on Nov 4th, 2007. He hurt his back throughout the show on that sunday matinee, and the doctors have told him to not return for fear of hurting it more.
He had a wonderful time in the show, made great friends and looks forward to the next project, whatever it may be.
To all those who came and supported him, thank you.
"Grantiare was a blast to play, but even more than that was meeting all the different fans of Les Mis. Having someone come up to me and say, 'I have seen the show 100 times and I thought you really nailed Grantiare' was amazing. And those who would say, 'this is my first time seeing Les Mis and you made me laugh' was just as great. I was glad that I could have that impact on people."
Onward and Upward!

MICHAEL MINARIK currently resides in Manhattan, NY. He was born in Fairfax, VA and lived there until he left to attend James Madison University. After majoring in Public Relations and Business, Michael left school to join the National Tour of THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, where he sang the "Phantom Duet" and "The Music of the Night" (then later on starring Michael Bolton).

I was so sad when I went to see Les Miz and you weren’t there! Get better soon!
